Benyam Hailu, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Benyam Hailu serves as a medical officer for the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. Dr. Hailu has worked as a general medical practitioner, project supervisor, and researcher for a nonprofit AIDS research project in Sub-Saharan Africa, at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Hailu received his M.D. from the Addis Ababa University school of Medicine, and his M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a concentration in infectious diseases.
