Objective
The purpose of this program is to support specialized research centers to conduct multidisciplinary research, research training, and community engagement activities focused on improving minority health or reducing health disparities.
Description of Initiative
The purpose of this program is to provide support for: 1) multi- and trans-disciplinary research to promote minority health and to eliminate health disparities; 2) strengthening of research training/education activities; and 3) engaging minority and other communities experiencing health disparities in effective and sustainable activities for improving the health of their communities.
