New York University Grossman School of MedicineChau Trinh-Shevrin, DrPH, is Professor of Population Health and Medicine at New York University (NYU) Grossman School of Medicine. She serves as Vice Chair for Research and heads the Section for Health Equity in the Department of Population Health. For more than 20 years, her research has been centered on the rigorous development and evaluation of multi-level strategies to reduce health disparities and advance health equity among Asian American populations.Currently, Dr. Trinh-Shevrin is a multiple principal investigator of an NIH/NIMHD Specialized Center of Excellence—the NYU Center for the Study of Asian American Health—and a National Institute on Aging R24 Engagement in Longevity and Medicine (ELM) Research Collaborative. Dr. Trinh-Shevrin is Associate Director of Community Outreach and Engagement for the Perlmutter Cancer Center and PI of a CDC-funded Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network Center.
