Zahra Ansari is a postbaccalaureate research fellow at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), Division of Intramural Research (DIR). She is working under the guidance of Dr. Sherine El-Toukhy to study how best to leverage health technology to bridge health disparities.
Ms. Ansari received her B.S. in public health from the University of California (UC), Berkeley. There she conducted research on the best outreach methods of colorectal cancer screening in South Asians and oversaw planning and executing culturally tailored interventions to combat low cancer screening rates in South Asian community spaces of the Bay Area.
