Dr. Kester Williams-Parry is a program analyst in the Office of Science Policy, Strategic Planning, Evaluation and Reporting. She manages the coordination and development of various scientific reports related to NIMHD and NIH’s minority health and health disparities research and accomplishments.

Previously, she served as communications director for NIMHD and special assistant to the first director of NIMHD. Before joining NIMHD, Dr. Williams-Parry worked as a program manager for the National Kidney Foundation and as a junior public relations associate with Ogilvy Public Relations.

Dr. Williams-Parry has a Ph.D. in health services research from the University of Maryland School of Public Health, a master’s degree in international relations and international communications from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and foreign languages from Albertus Magnus College.
