Research Strategies to Optimize Health Care for People With Multiple Chronic Conditions (MCC) From Populations Experiencing Health Disparities

Virtual workshop conducted March 18 and 19, 2024

The prevalence of multiple chronic conditions (MCC) has increased significantly over the past 20 years among U.S. racial and ethnic minority populations. This is especially true for those living below the poverty line or in underserved rural areas.

During this unique exploration of strategies for conducting multilevel research on MCC among populations experiencing health disparities, speakers will:

Identify feasible methodologies and barriers to conducting and disseminating the range of research on MCC.
Discuss data access, equity, and analytical challenges and potential solutions.
Explore critical collaborations needed to successfully conduct such research.
