Celebrating National Minority Health Month
Celebrated every year in April, National Minority Health Month is an effort to raise awareness about health disparities that continue to affect racial and ethnic minority populations.
The 2020 theme for National Minority Health Month is Active and Healthy. Like many activities around the country, National Minority Health Month efforts are being impacted by COVID-19. Echoing the messages from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health to practice physical distancing, we will highlight ways to be physically active and enhance emotional wellness.
