Stacey Valley is a staff assistant for the Division of Clinical and Health Services Research. She provides administrative, procedural, and informational resources to support the division.
Prior to joining NIMHD, Ms. Valley worked in a variety of roles in health care, education, and marketing. She served in the U.S. Public Health Service as a nurse officer for seven years and held positions at the Indian Health Service, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. She taught in Arkansas public schools for five years. Early in her career, Ms. Valley worked at several advertising agencies.
Ms. Valley received her B.S. in communications from Arkansas State University, as well as a B.S. in nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She graduated with her M.P.H. in public health practice from the University of South Florida. She holds a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Arkansas and is a licensed RN in the state of Arkansas.
