Priscilla Grant, J.D.

Priscilla Grant has served as the Chief Grants Management Officer for the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) since 2007. Prior to joining the NIMHD, Ms. Grant was a Grants Management Specialist at the National Cancer Institute. She has worked in grants management for the National Institutes of Health since 1993.

Errin Frahm

Errin Frahm is NIMHD's information systems security officer (ISSO) in the Office of Administrative Management. As ISSO, Errin oversees all aspects of the NIMHD information security program.

Krystale Lyons

Krystale Lyons is an Administrative Officer for NIMHD in the Administrative Services Branch (ASB), Office of Administration Management (OAM). Her primary role is to provide administrative services in purchasing, procurement, and contract administration; management and program analysis; facilities, property, safety, space management; and human resources.

Carlos O. Garrido, Ph.D., M.S., M.P.H.

Dr. Carlos Garrido is a Social and Behavioral Sciences Administrator (Program Officer) in the Division of Integrative Biological and Behavioral Sciences at NIMHD. He is a quantitative social psychologist who studies health behavior/promotion. Dr. Garrido's research is characterized by identifying psychosocial assets and barriers to health promotive behaviors to develop psychological interventions that promote healthy living and reduce the chronic disease burden.

Kelvin Choi, Ph.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Kelvin Choi is the scientific director for NIMHD’s Division of Intramural Research (DIR). He is the first tenure-track investigator at NIMHD recruited through the Earl Stadtman Program. Prior to joining NIMHD, Dr. Choi was an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota, where he received his M.P.H. in community health education and Ph.D. in social and behavioral epidemiology. Dr. Choi was tenured and promoted to senior investigator in 2021.

Gabriel Lai, Ph.D.

Dr. Gabriel Lai serves as a Supervisory Health Scientist Administrator (Program Officer) and the Team Lead for the Integrative Biological and Environmental Sciences Team. His work focuses on promoting research to understand and address biological and environmental factors that contribute to health disparities in areas including cancer, chronic diseases, obesity, diabetes, microbiome, and exposome.

Sharita Brown

Ms. Sharita Brown is a budget analyst for NIMHD. She manages the Intramural Research Program budget and associated administrative activity in accordance with the National Institutes of Health budget policies and procedures.

Caitlin Allick

Caitlin Allick is an IT specialist in the Office of Administrative Management, overseeing IT customer service functions for NIMHD.

Caitlin joined NIH in 2008 as an IT Help Desk contractor supporting the National Cancer Institute (NCI). In 2014, she was promoted to systems administrator on the NCI Infrastructure Team and then to systems team lead in 2019.
